Auto Tint for Sedans vs SUVs: Understanding the Differences

  Not every vehicle is the same, and neither is every auto tint job. If you own a sedan, the rules around tint percentages, the coverage area, and even the visual impact of the film are somewhat different from what SUV owners experience. Understanding these differences helps you make a better decision and sets realistic expectations before your appointment. Florida's tint laws make some of these distinctions very concrete. For sedans, front side windows must allow more than 28% of visible light through the film. Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be tinted to any percentage as long as the vehicle has side mirrors on both sides.
